Mirrors of Selfie

It’s been really hard to get a OOTD post for awhile as I couldn’t get my looks captured the way I want it to so I just opted for this mirror selfie. Lol. This time around I wanted to achieve a preppy ensemble but not too formal. The Aussie style is one thing I am learning to adapt. I really adore their style. Just simply put casual chic. It’s winter time here so I am just excited to layer up and mix and match pieces. Something that I have been looking forward because in the Philippines can I seldom do this and it’s pretty hot even if its rains.

I have put a lot of outfits since the last post but I didn’t get the chance to get them photographed. That’s just too bad. But sometimes I don’t really like to get all published here. But, yeah I’ll try my best for you to see.

I have been lazy blogging lately! Sorry. :)

The jacket is from Folded and Hung.
The button down shirt is a thrifted piece I unravelled on my vacation in the Philippines.
Navy green trousers from Cotton On
Brown boots are custom made.
The bag is from the SM Store.

Press Pause and Play

It was like hitting that pause and play button. When I left for the Philippines and left again for Australia, just that feeling of continuity without too much drama. From a sleepless night before my connecting flight to Australia to a 7-hour lay over at the Changi Aiport to the 8-hour flight to Australia, summed up with these photos that can either annoy or annoy you! Lol

Thank you to my friends who gave me this neck pillow! Abi, Leslie, Jena. Bawi nakumu guys pag bongga na haha.
From the Philippines

To Singapore!

Touching down to Melbourne!

Trying this athletic chicness. Mixing athletic wear and preppy clothes. I wore this double breasted jacket with my gray button down and paired it with my red boat shoes for an extra pop of colour. Do you guys like it? Thoughts?

Selfie while waiting for the bus going to the city.

At Collins Street, the tram station.

QUOTA na ang selfie!!! Haha.

And then I saw this badboy that I have been looking for!!!! This Stefan Janoski Nike SB digi floral print retails here at AUD 149.00. Man if I only have the money! I wouldn’t think twice.

We attended the Hillsong service headed by Chris Mendez! He really is a powerful speaker!
Definitely, related with his message.

Concluded the day at Dondon’s with this Pork teriyaki.

Till my next post! xoxo

Mirror Selfie Confessions

During Boxing Day, I wore this pretty relaxed ensemble. You have to be comfortable since you’ll be roaming around the city rummaging for amazing deals and whatnot. There were good deals but I was a little disenchanted because there wasn’t really stuff that would grab your attention for the price they are asking.

However, just when you thought the day is over I saw these two stuffs. I got the neclace from Lovisa. Lovisa has heaps of cool stuffs specifically for women but I don’t really care.

Super Adorbs!!!
Skull Ring from Lovisa. A present from my friend Clara.
The gold tusk like necklace from Lovisa.
Thrifted H&M Top
Thrifted Mango Track suit pants
Customized Oxford flats

Amazing Race to KL

At Tullamarine International Airport before boarding.

The three sisters and me.

At the lovely Arrival gardens at Changi Airport. You gotta have your shot here.

Jena and Me tonight! What a good reunion that was!

At Marina Bay Sands, Highlighting the Skyline. #Lovely

The Bridge to KL.

This is the first time that I have travelled and actually able to appreciate each nation that I have been to. You get to see and encounter the people and the culture. It will be different for sure but it just makes you widen your understanding of people. Makes you think of things which you have not thought of or get a chance to stay away from a problem to really get a clearer picture.

Landed on Changi International Airport in Singapore at 7 PM, we made our way to the city for a pretty quick glance of the beauty of the country. Though we had some issues with the weather (Arte much haha) since coming from a chilly weather in Melbourne. I even had the chance to meet my best friend Jena. I was so mad at myself for not informing her(I forgot, lol). I just texted her on that hour we landed in Singapore. So she rushed to Ion Orchard to meet me and then we were inseparable! haha. True that.

Then we got to catch our flight at 6 AM to Kuala Lumpur, that gave us quite a headache.

Wait for the next installment! The KL stop of the Race.

Birthday Boy/Graduation Boy

Your first adult birthday away from home, away from the all the comforts you have. When you are all alone you are just in it to find what you can call safe zone away from home. I am gladly happy to say and know that I have found that even way beyond that. My family here in Australia are just so kind and  they make you feel that you really belong to them. From the time I got here, until now more and more people I get to know and I have seen how they welcome me as a not-so-stranger. Frankly speaking, I didn’t have that hard time to adjust here because the people around me made that easy for me.

I may have shed tears and downs here but it was all about having your support always there to give you a hand. I can really say I am so lucky although I got through those times when I just got out of luck. I still am a lucky guy!

I miss everything from way back home. But this is what I have been dreaming of and I have to make this work. Tears ran down as I am striking each letter in this. Please don’t be sorry for me. I am just happy too that I have made it on my own without someone to do everything for me. Making those adult steps one at a time. More to go!

This is the summary of my birthday/graduation day! I had a blast for sure. People here really made me feel I’m not away from home.

In the classroom before the graduation ceremony.

Say cheese!

The side view.

With my girls, Gwen, She and Mae.

With my alleged girlfriend here in Oz. Lol.

And while I am blowing my cake someone’s busy with something. Lol

Thank you Luena for this! Such a sweet treat! Figuratively and literally!
