Amazing Race to KL

At Tullamarine International Airport before boarding.

The Bridge to KL.

This is the first time that I have travelled and actually able to appreciate each nation that I have been to. You get to see and encounter the people and the culture. It will be different for sure but it just makes you widen your understanding of people. Makes you think of things which you have not thought of or get a chance to stay away from a problem to really get a clearer picture.

Landed on Changi International Airport in Singapore at 7 PM, we made our way to the city for a pretty quick glance of the beauty of the country. Though we had some issues with the weather (Arte much haha) since coming from a chilly weather in Melbourne. I even had the chance to meet my best friend Jena. I was so mad at myself for not informing her(I forgot, lol). I just texted her on that hour we landed in Singapore. So she rushed to Ion Orchard to meet me and then we were inseparable! haha. True that.

Then we got to catch our flight at 6 AM to Kuala Lumpur, that gave us quite a headache.

Wait for the next installment! The KL stop of the Race.

The Jetsetters

This trip is not for leisure supposedly but for more relevant reasons. But it turned out that this was so much fun! I am joined by my friends Gwen, Maee and Edge to Kuala Lumpur in which we will have a long stop over to Singapore.

These kicks will make or break you so choose comfort when travelling.

I love browns! Brown bag, brown floor, brownies!

The three angels flying with Jetstar.

Drama king scene.

There’s gotta be cockroaches in Australia. Haha

The Melbourne Ultimatum

This museum tour is part of our transcultural thingy at school. A perfect time to get to know this awesome country and also to get to slack back a little. We were all caught up snapshotting every thing we see visually stimulating sights. And almost forgot to really go deep into the cultural aspect of the trip! Lol. But I see to it to take time to read some things in there. The Melbourne Museum is such a huge house of historical bits and pieces of Australia. A must see!

There will be the part two soooon! I’m sorry readers. I just got my hands full now. Lot’s of dramas here in OZ. If this would have been a reality show, I could have been rich and famous!!!!!! Hahaha.
Kim K will feel insecure definitely! hahaha.

From Baguio with Love

Work does make one go nuts. Luckily, I got my sanity back. I was so stressed out and tired working from the last quarter of December until the end of January so I thought of having a cool off from work.

My friends and I went on a 3-day vacation in the City of Pines, Baguio City located north of the Philippines. It is a great place to unwind and to get inspired. I haven't been to Baguio in ages so having to go there again is quite a thrill plus a freezing weather(for me that is). Having said that, we kicked off our first day with a trip at the famous Burnham Park and we did a photo shoot. Of course, I did pack all my nice goodies for this. Haha. The climate was really a challenge. Some of my friends went with a sleeveless dress that did gave them quite a cold shoulder. Literally. Haha.

 A view from our place.

 Burnham Park

We had a not-so-cool incident at a local restaurant, Good Taste. Though it really lived up to its name. The waiter was passing by our table holding a tray full of glasses of iced tea, when he accidentally spilled everything on our table and unfortunately on us too. I don't know what's worse, to get spilled by boiling cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea in an 8 degree weather? Lol It caused me and my friends to feel a little maddened by the whole situation. Of course. But we decided to move on so as not to spoil the night.

We concluded the night with a shopping trip at the night market. All in all we headed home with glee. It really is more fun in the Philippines. Isn't it?

The pictures were just captured with my 5MP Blackberry Bold 9780 camera phone. They look so fine.

I’m Fully Booked!

For the most part, I can only count in one hand days where I did not go out. Yes, as the title implies I am fully booked. Got part time jobs left and right, night outs with friends and career moving agendum! And today was no exception.  I was in Bulacan, a province in the Philippines for an annual physical examination of a company.

I was photographed against the St. John The Baptist Church, the oldest in existence in the province. The intricate details and carvings on the church’s entrance was really breathtaking. No one will contest with that. A common belief here in the PI is to make a wish when it is your first time to go to a church and so I did. Haha.

As for my outfit, even at work I still try to inject my style. I call this look “SCRUB CHIC”. I am in all black from head to toe. Wearing my dependable TOMS black burlaps and a carrot pants sealed the look in crisp.
