Need We Suffer?

Photo credits to Kuya Jun. Lol

We all have priorities and sometimes it’s hard to weigh things especially for me. And so we need to “prioterise” as one of our very trying and taxing educator always tell us. That mumbled up word we hear every time. This man will rob you of everything you have until you have nothing left. Of course that’s exaggeration. Right guys? Haha. Well, yeah some people will be very hard to you and that’s life. You just got to not let it get under your skin and move on from it.

This was a hell week for me and my mates here. School has been tough. It just is. I even had a very dramatic scene during our debriefing session. How the hell did that happen?? Stress. Stress. And Him! haha. Do you think I should be nominated for an  Emmy for that scene? Haha
The next 5 weeks will be tougher. We can do this guys!

And this! Sorry Lord for I have sinned? :(

We gave ourselves a breaher and these sweets did the job. Special thanks to Ate Gwen and Ate Edge!

And before ending this I would like to quote the holy queen of Twerking, Miley Bird Cyrus. We need to be a wrecking ball, to break down that wall. We just want you to let us in. Haha. Wowsa, I can’t even imagine that something good came out of that song and oh I mean Miley. Haha. #Kidding

It’s Beach, B*tch.

The breathtaking view at Altona Beach

Just staring at these makes me forget all the worries I have.

Selfie Selfie din! haha.

Emotionally Motivated Output! #EMO

That looooong stare. Problems? Nah!

At Max Brunner’s, their yummy sweet indulgences!

Ate Gwen and her chocolate factory.

Gwen invited me to meet her sister, Ate Edge and Kuya Ton. It was such a perfect time to cool off from the stressful corners of the school. We went to Altona beach which was breathtaking but freezing cold! Haha. The beach front was so romantic. Ate Gwen even told that is the place where Kuya Ton proposed to Ate Edge. Isn’t that so sweeet!

Then after that we headed to Highpoint, a shopping mall in Altona. We had a Mexican dinner and ate some burrito and then grabbed some coffee at Max Brunners! So so delicious! Thank you so much Ga, Ate Edge and Kuya Ton for the treat and clothes you bought for me.

To have people like them share their kindness is such a sweet gesture. I truly adore and appreciate it especially for someone whom they barely even know. Thank you so much!

Me, My Friends and I

Friends will keep you. Friends will break you. But finding people who make you happy are rare finds. Being here for the first time is a lot to take in. I am worried with heaps of inconceivable potential problems. The very beautiful Gwen who was my seatmate during my first day at school didn’t take time for us to be friends. It was like a friend request from Facebook and in one click you’re friends already. I know right?

And the friend requests kept coming! So glad to have fabulous friends here in OZ.

And even one of our educators believed we were in a relationship! hahaha. That’s how close we are.

At the Immigration Museum. Photo credits to Kuya Rommel. Love the shot!

The lovely Anna, Top Model Ate Gwen and the gorjas Jun! Haha.

At the not-so Hungry Jacks! With Buff Kuya Dino haha, the Party Animal Luena, Lovely Anna, the very uptight Claire, Beautiful Anne and the alluring Aubrey!

Awww the busiest class ever! And Anne in here was not aware I was taking a shot?

And even in the dining area, busy bees are we all!

Our pretty and Gorjas classmates from India and Alyssia’s infectious laugh. :))

Luena is looks like my sister! #kalokalike

Lazy McGuire

Today, I helped my friend Cente and Tel with their wedding preparations. Though it's a rainy and gloomy Friday nothing stopped us from getting things done. But still a ton of things to be accomplished!

I felt lazy the whole day. Haha. The weather will speak for itself.

My outfit of the day. I love how random I managed to pull this look together. The weather kind of given me the permission to layer clothing and so I did. My Oxygen skinny jeans are so skimpy that it almost felt and looked like jeggings haha. Like "suman" in vernacular meaning rice cake covered in banana leaves. Haha. I know right. But I still loved it though. This is my typical signature look.

What I wore:

Top long sleeve shirt- thrifted

Tshirt from Team Manila

Jeans from Oxygen clothing

Sneakers from SM department store

Watch by Casio

Spiked bracelet from Divi

I Don’t Like It.

My best friend, Tel Mistal went home from Dubai. She is my shopping buddy/best friend/confidant. I missed her really. It was refreshing to see her in the flesh again. Although, Audrey, our best friend went missing-in-action that day. Perfect to catch up, we did babble about her stay there and some crazy wild stuffs. Haha. We went to see Les Misérables with her gorgeous boyfriend, Cente. Though I wasn’t keen on seeing the movie initially but it proved that my impressions were wrong. The movie was spectacular.

On top of that, she got me these pair of Sanuk sandals. I don’t like it. I love them! Thank you Telers. And thank you too Jel for the chocolates.

The Psalms of the Romans

After almost a decade post High School, we emerged what we are now. From Doctors to soon-to-be Lawyer to almost all sorts of professionals, this is the future that we have been aiming back then. But I am not that keen on saying that to myself because this is not where I dreamt to be just yet. Soon enough I can be on that place.

Kriska, the golden-voiced siren of our class spearheaded the reunion of our Psalms and Romans class. We were expecting around 50 people but of course some are already living their own lives somewhere so we can just expect for less. The date and venue got finalized. De Paolo’s Restaurant was the unanimous choice. It was our favourite go-to place in High School where they serve the ever popular potato croquette!

I am not certain of the people who will attend because I am too preoccupied with a lot of stuffs. On November 2, the day of the reunion, I still went with Mads, Cente, Audrey and Roi to have lunch. We did heaps of stuff tirelessly. Mads is a batch mate of mine and then too so we decided go together at the reunion dinner.

Of course, we arrived late. Like what’s new? Haha. As we entered the restaurant, from afar I can only count them with my hands, a bit nervous to see them again. I haven’t got used to social events like these. Mads and I roamed around to kiss and hug and say our hellos to everyone. I am elated to see them but now at a different view, in a more matured way. I was a bit surprised that they were clamoring about my blogging stint. Felt good that they knew about that and thank you Facebook!

During dinner, we rekindled our high school madness and updated each other with career and whatnot. It was nostalgia all over as we run down the crazy stuffs we did back then. Knowing friends achieve what they have right now was truly inspiring. Thereafter, we decided to have coffee at Coffee en Tree, a local coffee shop. Lots of snapshots and chats befell. The place was cozy and encouraged us to stay longer and closely get to exchange personal tales and gossip!

 With the curvaceous Hazel haha.

 With bestie pretty Madsy. :)

The night was concluded with kiss and hugs as we all parted. It’s great to be with our good old friends. Until next time friends!

To our sponsors who generously picked up the tab, thank you Doc Jean, Architect Carla and Carlo. You guys are awesome!! I want to get sponsored as well. Haha.

This is your blogger friend,

Kenny :)
