Flask Me Like You Do

A party or a gathering will not be complete without a sparkling glass of wine. Even in formal social gatherings like weddings, it can't get overlooked. It is a must. To be honest, I haven't thought of bringing a jug of booze with me, only a bottle of water that's all. But, this brand of flask for gentlemen drew my attention, Swig Flasks. They are ultra refined catered for any gentleman or woman who wants to have a good time with their friends without showing off what they are drinking.  Anyways, #TGIF so what else to do than to chill out.

Personally, I love the Executive Moulded Orange and the Heritage Dark Havana Flask which is obviously their best sellers. They have sold out of these when I ordered. Such a bummer but I went for the Executive Moulded Blue flask which also looks chic and definitely exudes my style. They look like accessories so they shy away from the attention which I definitely love. It is very handy and you can just chuck it in your purse or in the pockets of your jacket or suit. And have I told you that the pouches are made of tan leather? Super sleek, right? It will also make it for easier grip. It's on sale for 69 pounds! Still a steal.

Leather jackets are worthy of the splurge. These are investment pieces that can last a lifetime and can be your heirloom as well. Hand it over to the next generation down on your family tree, it instantly becomes a vintage piece. All Saints clothing has a wide range of pieces from menswear to womenswear. I absolutely adore these two in particular. 

These jackets can instantly make a simple or boring piece look more interesting. Imagine these outfits without the jacket. It   just leaves them to a casual daily look. As they say, you can never go wrong with black. I reckon if women have their lifesaver little black dress, us guys have black leather jacket. You can wear almost anything with it.

Massimo Dutti Dutty Love

I dropped by the Massimo Dutti online store today and I decided to do some shopping. Oops that’s window shopping. (wishful thinking, haha) Browns are a staple on my wardrobe and outfit choices. This earth tone colour keeps me warm and comfortable. Although the Massimo Dutti brand is quite on the high end, it can be assumed that the quality will be at par with the money you’ll shelve out. I got one Massimo Dutti wallet which a friend gave. It’s distressed and old but still sturdy.

On my shopping bag: Plaited belt, Suede shoe, leather messenger bag

That plaited belt is perfect fit for a tucked in ensemble either with a shorts or pants. The suede shoe is a growing trend right now. It can be best paired wearing pair of blue or olive green shorts or chinos rolled  up. Guys don’t normally wear bags but I am a bag person.  I can’t leave the house without a bag on my shoulders. This sleek messenger bag is sure staple in any outfit

I just love how these looks are so clean and dapper and crisp. Just the way I want my outfits to be. Specifically, I dig this all brown ensemble. It looks so sophisticated and comfortable too. If you wish to go casual, you can wear a pair of shorts instead and you’re good. The tussled loafers and the plaited belt gave this look some freshness and easiness. Accessorising is just as important as finding a perfect pair shoes.

The Bright Idea Project x Satchel Bag

I got an idea to get a bag that I want to be custom made. Laxamana Shoe Store and Supplies is the first thing that came to my mind to get this to life. This is the same store that made my leather clutch/laptop sleeve. Though they cater mostly shoes, I tried my luck. Carefully, I explained what I want and brought some sketches. I was thinking of a functional bag where I can fit in my laptop and stuffs, also for a normal stroll in the mall with friends.

A satchel was on my mind and black is the colour I chose. Black as it is formal and yet it can translate into different settings.

When I went to my go-to shoe store, Laxamana Shoes here in Angeles City, I was in high hopes that they can give me the exact bag that I wanted them to make happen. But I should’ve gave my myself a heads up that I was in a shoe store not a bag store. I showed them pictures of the design that I want, the details and all. Being my first time to get a bag custom made, I forgot some details that I need to specify like the bag handles, straps. I guess that can learned for next time. I don’t have a bigger picture of the bag dimensions so some measurements were a bit big to my liking.

The thing here is in the end I was happy with the product even though there were some details that I wish I did. The bag’s design was greatly inspired by this bag I saw from Pinterest. Overall, it may not be exactly as I have pictured in my head but it was something that I will surely want. It looked more expensive and classier than the casualness of the original design.

This is how it turned out. I’m happy with it, though I still had some alterations done. It’s quite sleek and sturdy!
